Sunshine Coast Council identified an opportunity to create a family centric tourist destination.

The brief was to intrigue, amuse and challenge the key stake holders, children aged between 4 – 10, but not to intentionally complicate the key messages. The council had a fixed budget, a lot of energy and a desire to create something truly memorable and unique.

The result was a stunning project, full of interactive elements ready to ignite a sense of fun and whimsy in the young and young at heart.

Concept Development

We performed the research and developed the high-level concepts and goals for the exhibition through consultation with the client.

We developed all of the interpretative content for the themes present in the walk.

We designed the exhibit structures to include interactive elements ensuring the safety of the target audience.

Armsign manufactured all of the exhibitions, signage, installations and supporting elements from locally sourced timber. The nest boxes were supplied by volunteer groups.

We installed the exhibition including fixing supplied artwork elements to the structures.
